• Dead sea [3]
• Salt deposits [3]
• Sea water (8 · 10⁻⁴ M) [3]
• Underground brines [3]

The naturally occurring isotopes are ⁷⁹Br (50.54 %, stable) and ⁸¹Br (49.46 %, stable) [5].
