In nature, nitrogen is found in the Earth's atmosphere, 78.06 % (v/v), and in the Earth's crust as mineral deposits [5]. The isotopes found in nature are ¹⁴N (99.635 %, stable) and ¹⁵N (0.365 %, stable) [5].
